Designing learning trajectory based on Qur’an and Hadith: A case of fractions at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah

Islamic-based educational institutions needed to internalize Qur’an and hadith in every lesson. Fractions were one of the main subjects mathematics taught at elementary school level. The purpose study was design learning fractions based on Madrasah Ibtidaiyah. This used a qualitative research method with approach development type. results revealed that could be implemented scientific hadith. verses explicitly mentioned fractional numbers displayed observing stage. Each number illustrated length model. Based stage, students then directed submit nutmeg questions questioning stage appropriate material, discussed reasoning while still applying student-centered learning.
